2009 Application Partner of the Year - Progress Software Corporation

The Precision™ bank platform from Fiserv received the 2009 Application Partner of the Year Award from Progress® Software Corporation. Progress recognized the Precision team for outstanding innovation and client satisfaction, participation in several Progress Empowerment programs, as well as for continued growth and deployment of successful banking solutions built on Progress technology.

“We selected this group as our Application Partner of the Year due to their exemplary use of Progress technology and partnership opportunities, as well as their creation of innovative business solutions using the Progress OpenEdge™ platform,” said Jerry Kelly, vice president of worldwide partner sales at Progress.

Many components of Progress application infrastructure are used to develop the Precision core and integrate ancillary applications to the platform.

2007 Partner Collaboration Award - Progress Software Corporation

The Precision bank platform from Fiserv received the 2007 Partner Collaboration Award, which recognizes a Progress partner who illustrates the benefit of partner collaboration and cooperation and helps educate and facilitate technology enablement and business acceptance in the Progress partner community.

Progress cited Precision’s successful implementation of service-oriented architecture with Sonic® ESB, an enterprise service bus from Progress. With Sonic, Precision is integrated with numerous ancillary products, enabling clients to tailor their bank technology to suit their individual business needs. Progress worked closely with development teams at Fiserv to enhance the Precision solution.

This technology partnership began in 1991. The Progress OpenEdge™ solution acts as the application infrastructure software for several Precision suite products.

 

2006 Technical Vision Award - Progress Software Corporation

 

Progress Software Corporation bestowed its Technical Vision Award to the Precision bank platform from Fiserv. The award recognizes the solution’s development team for its dedication to delivering cutting-edge software solutions to the banking industry. Progress provides application infrastructure software for the development, deployment, integration and management of the Precision core solution, as well as several integrated ancillary products.

“In early 2006, the Precision development team identified the need to transform its application to be more competitive and to be more responsive to the needs of its market,” said Diane Albano, Vice President of Americas Operations for Progress. “This has provided advances in all key areas, making the application more modern, flexible and leading to recent recognition by industry analyst, Celent, as offering some of the most advanced technology in the banking sector.”

Progress has bestowed the Technical Vision Award to one of its approximately 2,000 application partners for four years.

Precision offers a platform built on the newest technology available in every aspect of its software design. The solution’s high-performance, embedded relational database enables real-time access to the analytical data financial institutions need to forecast and respond to customer trends.
